Description:    In what is the largest showing of Scholder’s work to date, Fritz Scholder: An Intimate Look will include nearly 100 of the artist’s paintings, prints and sculptures. Joseph Sanchez, IAIA Museum curator, selected work from Scholder’s personal archives--those pieces Scholder kept for himself--offering an extraordinary glimpse into the artist’s life. Although the exhibit opens in July, a public reception will be held during the week of Indian Market on Wednesday, August 20th from 4 to 6 p.m.
