The Santa Fe Arts and Culture website is an online resource and tool for promoting arts and culture. Artists and art agencies such as, museums, galleries, art centers, can use the site to:
- Post unlimited event listings on the CALENDAR
- Submit event listings to the NM CultureNet open posting/discussion LISTSERV (requires subscription to list first)
- Submit event announcements to the monthly NM CultureNet Arts and Culture NEWSLETTER
- Inform the public about Santa Fe arts and culture in the MAGAZINE
- Sell art and gifts in the MERCADO

How to Use the Portal to Promote Your Artwork or Arts Agency
1) CALENDAR - http://www.santafeartsandculture.org/calendar/
The calendar is the Portal’s most popular feature. Submitted events are randomly selected and featured as the first item you see on the homepage. When a Portal visitor clicks on your event as it appears in the calendar, they are taken to a full-page description that links to your website.
- Under the Calendar tab, click "Submit Events."
- Click the highlighted phrase "click here to login or sign-up."
- If have not already done so to register in the Arts Directory, create a membership account. Create a user login name and password.
- Enter your event information.
2) OPEN DISCUSSION LISTSERV
Send announcements to a network of more than 900 New Mexicans!
- Subscribe to the Discussion List "Listserv" at http://www.nmculturenet.org/connections/
- Submit an announcement by sending back to the list address
3) MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

The magazine features partner publications, articles, photos, audio recordings, and video clips. Submitting media to the gallery is a great way to archive events and exhibitions online.
To submit articles:
- Click the "Submit Articles" tab.
- Unless you have already done so, create a membership account.
- Fill out the article submission form.
To submit photos, audio files, or video clips:
- Format photos to fit the following specifications:
· JPEG format,
· 72 DPI,
· minimum width of 800 pixels
- Format video fit the following specifications:
· no longer than approx. 3 minutes in length
· H.264 QuickTime,
· unmuxed MPEG or MJPEG
· 480x360
· 30 fps on a CD
- Audio material must be digital, in any format.
- If you are submitting fewer than five photos, audio files, or video clips, contact us and you will be able to send by email.
- Otherwise, record media onto a C.D., and mail it to:
